This was my second plantronics Discovery 665A headset and they both have the same problem with the ear piece and hook, they fall off often times when you store them in a pocket or a bag, one needs to handle them very very carefully like a newborn baby
voice quality is good.

I’ve tried a lot of headsets. This one and the jawbone have performed the best. For the price, this product easily wins. Sound quality is great, the only complaint from a caller I’ve had happened when the battery was low. The only potential problem is the ear bud I have on seems to be deteriorating quickly, but it came with 3, so if the one I’m using falls apart, I’ll try the next size up. The multiple charging options are very helpful, and the case it comes in makes it convenient to carry without fear of breakage.

When I ruined my Plantronics Discovery 655 I decided to buy a 665A so that I would have both a 655 pocket charger and a 665A car charger & wall charger, not being stupid. These Bluetooth headsets work much more comfortably for me without the optional earclip – I just use the correct size of the three eargels provided. These headsets have nice clarity and are easy to pair with your devices. The problem is the ear “hook” comes off easily, making them easy to loose. I bought this model and lost it the first day I wore it. I was unaware that it had fallen out of my ear. I tried contacting Plantronics for a replacement and got nowhere.
So I bought the Plantronics 220 mondel instead, as the ear hook on this one is very sturdy and permanently attached. Not as sleek looking, but I feel more secure about not loosing it.
I’m surprised our city sidewalks are not just littered with these things!

I love this headset and have had no problems at all with fit and positioning of the earpiece as has been noted in other reviews. Perhaps this is a re-engineered version based on customer feedback. The only problem I had was that the 12V cigarette lighter charging unit did not work out of the box. I called Plantronics customer service and had a new (functioning) charger in my hands within 3-days without question or hassle. The customer service alone is worth 3-stars, it gets 5 because it’s the best bluetooth headset I’ve used. One of the nice things is that it comes with three charging options, so you don’t have to buy a separate 110v and also comes with a USB cord to charge that way as well.
