PLEASE NOTE– ONE EMAIL TO CRAYOLA TO EXPRESS MY DISAPPOINTMENT AND I HAD A RESPONSE THE SAME DAY AND A NEW TOWER FED-EXed A FEW DAYS LATER. APPARENTLY, THERE WAS AN INITIAL DESIGN FLAW THAT THEY FEEL THEY HAVE RECTIFIED. WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE NEW ONE (WHICH WE HAVE HAD NOW FOR 6 MONTHS) IS STILL WORKING GREAT!Crayola Pip-Squeaks Marker Telescoping Tower
We have always been a big fan of crayola, but this tower is not up to standard. It doesn’t stay up, falls apart, flops shut, and when you try to get it to expand, if the “stoppers” don’t work, markers fly out of it everywhere. It’s difficult to manipulate, and, when you do get it set up, you have to have a feather light touch in order for it not to collapse– something my seven year old is not likely to manage. We’ve had it for about a month now, and we started having issues the first day– I regret not returning it…

Love the pip squeaks but bought this for the tower that does not work. Would love Crayola to perfect this as the concept is outstanding.

This is a disappointing product. I would expect much better from Crayola. The markers are great, my four-year-old loves them. However, the telescoping case will not stay open. Any slight touch and it collapses. I will be putting these markers into a different case.

We have tons of Crayola products since my daughter loves art, and I firmly believe they are the best quality brand for crayons, markers and the like. Usually. We are disappointed with this product, however. When the telescoping tower is extended, you just barely have to touch it, and it falls down and bangs shut. It does not lock into place like you might expect, and just a tap in the wrong direction makes it close back up. This is very frustrating for my four-year-old, and even being very careful, I myself have the same problem when I try to take markers in and out.
The markers themselves seem fine, and for now we’re just using this as a plain old storage box since the “telescoping” feature doesn’t work well. Definitely a disappointment since this was supposed to be the point of the product.
